When I sat down to write the following recap of Widgets for imedia, I couldn’t believe how much had changed in a single year. Terminology was coming together, heavily popular uses were emerging, ComScore started tracking them.
So, what started as a goal of 1300 words quickly blossomed into the (hopefully) comprehensive view of all the different kinds of widgets floating out there over different media, and of course, some practical insight for marketers.
My goal is always to try and strip away a bit of the mystery involved so that professionals can find a handle for the technologies that are out there — without having to learn the technology itself.
